The 80s has never really gone away, while some move forward the rest of us would like nothing more then to get in the De'Lorian we have rusting in the barn, fire up the flux capacitor, hit 88mph and head back to gold old 1985. In Cork there is still a massive 80s following and it's about time these loyal fans get their own night dedicated to everything 80s. And where better to have it than in the Savoy! We have 2 Rooms playing different kinds of music... our Main Room will be playing great hits and floor fillers while our "Frankie Says: Relax" room will have a more chilled vibe. The "Relax" Room will also be serving proper 80s cocktails and will be more of a mingle area.

Electric Dreams 6: (September 5th 2008) - Michael Jackson's 50th Birthday Bash

The worlds #1 MJ tribute act, NAVI will take to the stage to celebrate the King of Pop's 50th birthday and the 20th anniversary of his concert in the Cork. This is a night not to be missed with free giveaways, 80s TV, 80s sweets and the first time ever 3 floors. can't wait to see you there.

Thanks to everyone who came along to our little opening and what a great night you made it. This time around we had a Michael Jackson dancer doing his Thriller take off on the floor.

Wow, we never expected a turn out like that. Thanks again to everyone who has helped make this night thus far a success. Please keep coming back as we have plans to improve every month.

Electric Dreams 3: (June 6th 2008) - 80s Reborn
My god that was alot of people, thanks for coming out and hope your enjoying the nights so far. We here @ rubberduck and the savoy are just taken back by the continued support. Next month promises to be even better!

Electric Dreams 4: (July 4th 2008) - 80s Prom
Puffy dresses, funky ties, spiked punch and a live band; all we were short was the 'Under the Sea' theme.

Electric Dreams 5: (August 1st 2008) - Miami Night
Main room looked amazing and thanks to the many people who passed on good wishes and praise. Heard the pre-party in Sober Lane was rocking and from all accounts will be going all out for the next time around. For those who dressed up we handed out a Free Mixtape (See below), the first 100 in the door got a free 'Electric Pop' shot, we handed out 500 free Leis and 350 free Mr Freezes (some people looked at us funny when we were handing them out). There really no other club like this in town and the best value around. Next month promises to knock your socks off. Be early...... EeeeeeeHeeeeeee!!!!!!
